Aromatics of cassis and Asian spices, deep and layered.  This grippy Pinot Noir remains lithe and refreshing despite it’s intensity.  Fine tannins, judicious new oak and ripping, complex fresh fruit yield a wine for special occasions, priced to be consumed more often than that.
